Dear international students,

Sincethe outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, a total of over 250,000 confirmed cases have been reported around the world as of 24:00, March 20. As the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop, according to the requirements of the Chinese government, the Ministry of Education and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics on the prevention and control of the pandemic, the returning time for international students will continue to be postponed. The university will not start the new semester by May 6, 2020.

To ensure the safety of all students and teachers, we have to reiterate that all the international students, who have left/will leave the university or China, ARE NOT ALLOWED to return to the university or China before receiving official back-to-university notification. Students who violate the rules shall be given punishment in accordance with the regulations. And this may lead to the suspension of student visa by Nanjing Bureau of Entry and Exit.

Accordingto China's COVID-19 prevention and control experience, stay-where-you-are is the safest way to protect you from the infection. Please do not arrange any return trips to China before you are officially informed of returning to the university. You will be given enough time to prepare for coming back to China.  Please pay close attention to Batch Group notifications and keep in contact with coordinators and teachers to reduce the influence brought by COVID-19 pandemic on your study.

Since the university will implement the closed-off management continuously, please keep in touch with the teachers, supervisors & other working staffs and concentrate on your online study & research tasks during this critical time.
