四月校园，春风和煦，又是樱花烂漫时，又到一年毕业季。在南航校园里忙碌着准备毕业相关工作的同学们中，也有一批留学研究生的身影。曾经，他们带着对中国的向往和求知的渴望来到这里，而今，他们满怀着母校的期冀，有的即将留在学校继续深造，有的即将踏上归国的行程，也有的已经找到了心仪的工作，马上要开始新的生活。或许他们曾和你擦肩而过，或许你也曾听过他们的名字。现在，让我们来听一听他们的求学故事，也许这里面也有你的影子，也许你还会发现不一样的精彩。
Ali Qadir：Chasing My Dream in China, I Ended up in NUAA
A beautiful saying crossed my eyes, which says “Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength to chase your dream and the passion to reach the stars!” Likewise, it was the dream which brought me to NUAA 7 years ago. And, since then it is the passion which is taking me to the stars and further beyond.
有一句格言是这样说的：“每一个伟大的梦想都源自一个会做梦的人，时刻记得，你要让自己变得强大，饱含热情去征途星辰大海！” 七年前，带着这样的梦想和热情，我来到了南航，一步步朝着我的目标和理想努力。
The beginning years of my academic life during my undergraduate studies in NUAA was the most revolutionary period of my educational career, which was full of experiences, learning, and cherished memories. During the 4 years’ undergraduate studies，I have been the topper of class in International Business major with the efforts and passion of chasing my dreams. Therefore, I was horned with the Chinese Government Scholarship to pursue my postgraduate education in NUAA.
在南航的本科学习生涯对于初来中国的我来说是最具挑战性的，它充满了难忘的经历和珍贵的回忆。在四年的学习中，我不懈努力，成绩一直是国际贸易专业第一名。幸运的是，本科毕业以后，我获得了中国政府的支持得以继续进行硕士学位的深造。
The postgraduate education in NUAA has made me build the superb skills in academic field as well as in practical fields being able to encounter different kinds of situation and academic problems. Even during the pandemic period, with the support of NUAA especially my honorable supervisor I did my first academic publication in the international academic conference in Istanbul, Turkey and successfully completed my graduation dissertation.
研究生阶段的学习让我在学术和实践方面都积累了技能，让我能够从容地应对各种问题。即使是在疫情很严重的情况下，学校和导师都给予了我很多的支持，让我能够在土耳其的国际学术会议上发表我的论文并得到大会的认可，同时也顺利完成了硕士论文的撰写。
Besides the academic learning and knowledge attainments, NUAA has also been a center of knowing and experiencing the global village and culture diversity. NUAA provided us with various stages such as International Cultural Festivals and Global Village seminars, so that students from different countries can communicate and grow together in a diversified environment.
南航不仅仅是一片知识的沃土，也是一个国际化、包容性很强的舞台。南航给我们提供了比如“国际文化节”、“地球村之旅”等多样的平台，让中外学子共同交流与成长。
Along my academic life on campus, I have also been living and enjoying a beautiful social life in Nanjing. The long history, the rich culture, the love and respect given to me by the people of Nanjing have created the sense of responsibility in me. The responsibility of thinking about and looking after the needy societies of Nanjing. And, it was when I felt the need of a platform and founded the From Compassion To Action (FCTA).
求学的同时，我也一直感受着南京带给我的美好生活。南京悠久的历史、丰富的文化，以及南京人民给予我的爱和尊重，使我产生了要回报社会的想法。基于这个想法，我发起并创建了“从同情到行动”(FCTA)志愿服务团队。
FCTA is an organization of around 500 international youth volunteers from various countries with different skin colors and diverse languages, but maintaining the same belief, that is, turning compassion into action and contributing to society with love. Since its inception in 2016, FCTA has organized more than 100 volunteering and public welfare projects to help and support the needy societies in Nanjing, Jiangsu.
FCTA是一个由来自不同国家、不同肤色、不同语言的约500名国际青年志愿者组成的组织，但他们都秉持着同样的信念，那就是将同情转化为行动，用爱心奉献社会。自2016年成立以来，FCTA组织了100多个志愿和公益项目，帮助和支持江苏南京的公益事业。
During my studies in NUAA, based on my performance both academically and socially I have achieved several honors and awards at university and city level, including Top Ten Students of NUAA, Nanjing Youth Friendship Ambassador Award, etc. Because of the efforts I and the FCTA team have made in the COVID-19 prevention and control, I was awarded as the Most Beautiful Epidemic Prevention Volunteer in Nanjing and received an interview from the Secretary of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee.
在南航就读期间，我也获得了一些校级、市级的荣誉，包括南京航空航天大学“十大杰出青年学生”、“南京青年友好大使”等；在新冠疫情防控方面，因为我和FCTA团队在疫情防控上做的一些努力，我被评为“南京市最美防疫志愿者”并受到了南京市委书记的接见。
Last but not least, I would like to acknowledge and pay my utmost gratitude to the Chinese government and NUAA to give me the opportunity to pursue my dream in NUAA; I would like to thank the teachers of College of International Education for their hard work for international students. Meanwhile, I am heartily thankful to my supervisor Prof. Wang Ying for accepting me as her student and allowing me to be a part of the big family of young researchers. I deeply appreciate all the tireless efforts she has made very patiently to guide and motivate me for the easy learning, clear understating and better performing throughout the academic period. I am looking forward and I hope I will have the opportunity to carry on my higher education further in NUAA, to continue chasing my China dream.
最后，我想感谢中国政府和南航给了我追逐梦想的机会，感谢国际教育学院的老师们为留学生们付出的辛勤工作。我也由衷地感谢我的导师王英教授，感谢她让我成为她的学生，让我成为她年轻研究团队大家庭中的一员。我非常感谢她的耐心指导和鼓励，是她让我思路清晰，并掌握正确的学习方法，从而圆满地完成学业。我真心期待能有机会在南航继续深造，继续追逐我的中国梦。
