As the world becomes more interconnected and interdependent, proficiency in other languages has become an essential skill to communicate effectively with the rest of the world. Passing HSK enables us to connect with the Chinese people, their culture, history, literature, and a lot more. As a result, preparing for this exam will allow a student to cover a wide range of useful material which will be immediately applicable in various situations. Passing HSK examinations with good scores shows one has the linguistic aptitude. Students' chances of receiving a Chinese scholarship will improve as well. With the guidance of teachers from CIE, the workshop will be conducted by CIECG members who have already finished HSK-4 or are proficient in Chinese. CIECG aims to encourage students to take HSK examinations and accomplish something worthwhile even if they are at home.

What will be Discussed?

1.Introduction of Chinese HSK .  

2.Procedures for students from both inside and outside China to register for the HSK test.  

3.How to prepare for the HSK exam.  

4.During the workshops, complete two HSK level test papers.  

5.Questionnaire session.  

6.Distribute HSK materials to students and maintain contact with them until the course is completed.

Instructors

Coordinators Miss Han, Miss Yu, and Miss Xiao Lu of College of International Education (CIE) will be directing the event to make it a success. Alongside the coordinators, student volunteers (having HSK 4) will guide and assist the participants throughout the whole event.
