The Dong Zhi Festival or Winter Solstice Festival is one of the most important festivals celebrated by the Chinese people. The origins of this festival can be traced back to the “Yin and Yang” philosophy of balance and harmony in the cosmos. After this festival, the days provide with longer daylight hours, people believe that positive energy flows in.
This year, Dong Zhi Festival will be celebrated on 21st December. To make the festival a memorable one, College of International Education of NUAA decided to arrange an event where respected teachers of CIE and International students will make “Dumplings” together to strengthen the inter-cultural bond.
