The library of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) was established in 1952. In the past few years the library has expanded its collections very rapidly especially in terms of e-resources.

All electronic resources are open to NUAA teachers and students. By the end of 2014, the total physical collections was more than 2,540,000 items/volumes; e-journals and e-books in Chinese and foreign languages were more than 8,426,500; and databases were more than one hundred. The subjects covered include applied science, management, humanities and the social sciences, particularly aeronautics, civil aviation and astronautics-related technologies.
