III. Scholarship Coverage
- Tuition fee waiver

- CNY 3,000 for master’s students
- CNY 3,500 for doctoral students

IV. Application Requirements
1. Non-Chinese citizens with good physical and mental health, and with no criminal record.
2. Age limit:
- Master’s applicants: under 35
- Doctoral applicants: under 40
3. Language requirement: Provide English proficiency certificate (IELTS 6.0+; TOEFL 70+; or other certificate indicating English as the teaching language).
4. Strong academic background, research and innovation ability.

V. Application Procedure
1. Apply on CSC website
Visit http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login
Choose Program Type B, enter agency No. 10287 (NUAA). Complete the required information, submit online, and download the China Government Scholarship Application Form.
2. Apply on NUAA application portal (Mandatory for all CSC applicants)
Visit https://nj.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx
Select Chinese Government Scholarship – Type B .
The information submitted must be identical to the CSC application; otherwise, your documents will not be processed.
Required documents:
a. China Government Scholarship Application Form (in Chinese)
b. Scanned copy of passport (valid for more than one year)
c. Certificate of the highest academic degree (notarized copy in Chinese or English). If graduating this year, provide a certificate of expected graduation.
d. Transcripts of the highest degree program (notarized copy in Chinese or English)
e. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photo, stamps, signatures, and all items required – invalid otherwise). Examination date must be after September 1, 2025. Original required for registration.
f. Non-Criminal Record Certificate (Police Clearance Certificate)
g. English proficiency certificate: IELTS 6.0+ / TOEFL 70+ or equivalent
h. Research plan (previous research experience + future research plan, no less than 3000 words, signed by a NUAA potential supervisor)
i. Recommendation letters from professors
j. Acceptance letter from a NUAA potential supervisor
k. Publications, certificates, or other supporting documents
l. Self-introduction video
3. Preliminary review
Check completeness of documents. Passed applicants enter academic review.
4. Academic review (for applicants who passed preliminary review)
Colleges conduct academic review/interview to examine academic background, language proficiency, research ability, and innovation potential.

VI. Final Review and Result Release
Candidates are shortlisted based on academic review results. The nomination list is submitted to CSC Council for final approval (not all shortlisted students will be approved). Upon approval, NUAA will inform applicants and send the Admission Notice and JW201 Form.

VII. Admission
1. Admission letter and visa application form will normally be sent through the CSC system before July 31, 2026.
2. Registration time: Beginning of September (exact date on Admission Letter). Late registration is automatically canceled.
3. Scholarship holders cannot transfer university, change major, or extend the study duration after coming to China.
4. Application documents and fees are non-refundable, regardless of admission result.
5. Do not apply for more than one NUAA scholarship program at the same time.

VIII. Annual Review
The annual performance of scholarship holders is reviewed every May. Those who fail the annual review will lose their scholarship eligibility for the next year.
