Application Period:

For all applicants:

November 15, 2021- June 30,2022

Admission results will be announced in July 2022.

For Scholarship applicants:

1. CSC - Chinese University Program:

November 15, 2021-March 30, 2022

Admission results will be announced at the end of May 2022.

2. Nanjing Government Scholarship and NUAA Postgraduate Scholarship:

November 15, 2021 -June 30, 2022

Admission results will be announced in early July 2022.

The application system will still be available during the winter vacation. Due to the limited quota available for NUAA, applicants are strongly advised to apply early.Early applicants will be given merit-based priority for the scholarship.

Admission Requirements:

1.  Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with good physical and mental health.

2.  Applicants applying for the Master and PhD program admissions should be under the age of 35and 40 respectively before September 1st, 2022.

3. Language Requirements: Provide the English proficiency certificate. (IELTS (6.0 or above), TOEFL (70 or above), other certificate shows English is the teaching language)

4.  Theacademic grade level should be above average, proving the certificate as a proof of academic competency.

Application and Selection Procedure:

Step-1: Application Documents Preparation

1. A clearly scanned copy of the personal information page on the valid passport;

The passport should be valid till October 30, 2022. Applicants currently living in mainland China are also required to provide a scanned copy of their current valid visa page or residence permit page.

If a passport is not available at the time of application, the personal information page of the national ID card can temporarily be used for the application. Please note that a valid passport is one of the necessary materials for admission, and applicants should provide it as soon as possible.  

2. A clearly scanned copy of the Bachelor's or Master's degree certificates;

A scanned copy of the degree certificate is required.If the applicant completed the Bachelor's or Master's degree study in China, please provide both the degree certificate and graduation certificate.

A scanned copy of the pre-graduation certificate is required if the applicant has not yet earned a Bachelor's or Master's degree certificate. The original degree certificate should be re-submitted prior to registration.

4. A study plan for Master/PhD program;

Applicants who are currently in China and have a “Residence Permit” or a “Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card”, can use either of these two documents to substitute the Physical Examination Certificate.

8. Non-criminal record certificate (issued within last 5 months).

Applicants who currently live in China should provide non-criminal records from both the home country and China.

Note: Please present notarized Chinese or English version if the above materials are neither in Chinese nor in English. Applicants who fail to present all the above materials will not be accepted.

Step-2: Complete online application

1. Access to NUAA application systemhttps://nj.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspxand complete the online application.

NUAA online application system is the only acceptable method for applying at NUAA. 400 RMB application fee is mandatory to complete the application. Failure to pay the application fee will be deemed as an invalid application. The application fee is non-refundable.

2. A valid email address should be used to register for the online application system. All the communications between NUAA and the applicants will be done through the email and system notifications simultaneously. You will be updated of application review process and examination/interview details on a regular basis through the system. Make sure you will check the application status and the system notifications on a regular basis. The reply can only be done in the system. DON’T REPLY EMAIL DIRECTLY.

3. Applicants should carefully review and upload all the documents and submit the applications before the deadline.

Scholarships Details

Scholarship Application

Applicants should choose one of the following two methods to apply for the CSC scholarship.

Path I - Via University.

Step 1, complete the CSC application form at https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login

Step 2, Download CSC application after completion and upload it to the NUAA application system https://nj.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx as an attachment.

Path II - Via Local Chinese Embassy.

Applicants who meet the requirements can also apply to the local government or Chinese Embassy. Please contact the local relevant institutes or Chinese Embassy to confirm the eligibility requirements, agency number, and program type for applying for the scholarship.

Applicants can directly choose other scholarship category in application system.Please note both Nanjing Government Scholarship and NUAA Postgraduate Scholarship winner will be given self-sponsored admission notice.

Scholarship Result Announcement

1. University will process applications based on the application order. Applicants will receive the result announcement via the registered email through application system. Early applicants will be given merit-based priority.

If awarded, applicants will receive only one scholarship funded by either the Chinese government or Nanjing government.

2. After being admitted by NUAA, applicants will not be able to change their programs, majors, supervisors, or study period. Consideration for any special circumstances may require additional approvals from the university.

Payment

Registration Process

1. Registration date usually will be at the beginning of September to the Middle of September, 2022. Specific date will be subjected to the admission notice. Please pay attention, early registration is not recommended; For those who do not register as requested without any reason, both admission and scholarship will be canceled.

2. Admitted applicants need to apply for the ‘X1’ study visa with the holding of valid passport, admission notice and JW201/202 visa application form.
