Hello NUAAERs! Summer Holiday-2021 is starting soon. All of us have just finished our exams and are looking to rest.  We certainly deserve rest after a long and tiring semester, but let's not waste our entire holiday resting.

Here are a few suggestions from CIECG to make the best use of your summer holiday.

What To Do?

Join Online Courses:

Many courses related to your major are available on online platforms like: Coursera, Udemy, Skillshare etc. Find something of your interest and start learning.

Develop A New Skill:

Try to develop a new skill this holiday. It might be something related to your study or something else. Here are some recommendations for students of different majors:

Learn Something New:

It’s never too late to learn something new. It might be a new language, playing a musical instrument, new hobby etc.

Strengthen Old knowledge:

Try to relearn the things you have learned before. It will help you to remember better.

Communicate:

Spend time with your family. Communicate with your friends and classmates. Participate in social activities. These will keep you mentally sound during the tough days of pandemics.

Safety Guidelines

1.Please take good care of yourselves inside and outside of university and pay attention to COVID-19 prevention guidelines. Wear Mask!

2.Adhere to all school rules and regulations and if possible do not leave school before the holiday or return back to school late after the holiday. For students who leave Nanjing during summer vacation, come before 29th August,2021 and get ready for new semester. Apply for police station registration on time.

3.For students whose visa is going to expire before 1st September, 2021, please finish fees payment and come to CIE office before 8th July,2021. Overstaying one's visa or residence permit is strictly prohibited. International students overstaying will be considered as illegal residents and will be fined 500 RMB per day, with a maximum amount of 10,000 RMB, or be detained for no less than five days and not more than 15 days.
