Welcome to NUAA

Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) was founded in 1952 and is located in Nanjing, an international city with a history of 2500 years. NUAA is a comprehensive national key university with characteristics of aerospace technology, astronautics and civil aviation. Among the first national universities authorized to confer doctoral, master, and bachelor degrees, NUAA has been recognized under both the "National Project 211" and the "Double First-Class" initiatives.

 NUAA has always attached great importance to Chinese language education for international students. The Chinese language curriculum covers undergraduate, graduate, preparatory, exchange students, and language program students. A high-quality Chinese language curriculum system has also been established.

Chinese Language Program

 Program Duration：One Semester or One Year

 This program is specially offered by Chinese Language Center of NUAA for international students who are interested in learning Chinese. According to the language level of students, the course is divided into three levels: beginner, primary level and intermediate level. The characteristics of the course are small-class-teaching, individualized teaching, and a combination of teaching & practice.

Teachers

 Chinese Language Center is founded for teaching Chinese to all international students. The center has established a professor team with a total of 15 full-time and part-time language teachers, most of whom hold degrees in Chinese language or possess recognized teaching qualifications.

Curriculum

•  Comprehensive Chineses (1-4):

 To structure a comprehensive Chinese knowledge system and develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

•  Chinese Listening and Speaking [1-3):

 By training Chinese listening and speaking skills, learners can

 engage in basic communication in Chinese.

•  Chinese Reading (high level):

 Enable students to read Chinese newspapers, business documents,

 and engage in basic Chinese writing.

•  HSK Practical Training:

 Students will have a comprehensive understanding of the HSK exam form and knowledge points, and qet the best exam guidance.

•  Survey of China:

 This course introduces traditional Chinese culture and an overview of modern China, as well as interesting cultural experience activities.

HSK Tutoring and Exam

 NUAA established an HSK Examination Center in 2018 to serve both internal and external HSK candidates.

 For students of NUAA, in addition to the HSK training courses in the curriculum, we also provide professional HSK exercises and simulation software, as well as one-to-one Q&A services by professional Chinese teachers.
