注册报到

    1. 新生入学

（一）按国家招收国际学生规定录取的新生，须持我校录取通知书和有关证件，按规定日期到校办理入学手续。因故不能按期入学者，应提供相关证明，事先向学校请假，并获学校批准可暂缓入学，最长期限为一个月。未经请假或虽请假但逾期者，除因不可抗力等正当事由以外，视为放弃入学资格。

（二）新生入学时应到中国卫生检疫部门办理《外国人体格检查记录》确认手续或者进行体检。经体检确认患有不适宜在校学习的严重精神障碍或其他疾病的，取消入学资格。

（三）新生报到须按规定缴纳有关费用，并于入境之日起三十日内办理学习类外国人居留证件等相关手续。逾期未缴纳上述费用或未办理上述手续的，取消入学资格。

     2. 入学复查

（一）新生入学后三个月内，学校将复查学生身份、高中成绩及毕业证书等相关信息。复查合格者，取得学籍，并准予注册；复查不合格者，学校视情况予以处理，直至取消学籍。

（二）复查中发现学生存在弄虚作假、徇私舞弊等情形的，确定为复查不合格，学校立即取消学籍。

3. 学籍注册

具有学籍的学生每学期开学时应按规定缴纳有关费用，并持缴费凭证、学生证、居留许可到国际教育学院办公室办理注册手续。不能如期注册者，应当提前办理暂缓注册手续。未按学校规定缴纳有关费用或者有其他不符合注册条件的学生不予注册。

4. 学制与学习年限

本科学制为四年。学生在籍完成学业最短年限为三年，最长不超过六年（含休学、延长学习时间和退学试读时间）。获中国政府奖学金的学生超过规定学制期间的相关费用自理。

Enrollment and Registration

1. Freshman Orientation  

(1) According to Rules on International Students’ Enrollment in China’s Colleges and Universities，new students admitted by the university should come to handle enrollment procedures with admission notices and relevant certificates before deadlines as specified in admission notices. Those who fail to do so due to reasonable reasons should ask for leave or for a grace period of not more than one month. Those who do not ask for the leave or fail to register before the end of the grace period without proper reasons such as force majeure will be considered to abandon the admission.

(2) New students shall go to the health and quarantine department of China to confirm the documents of the Physical Examination Record of Aliens or take a physical exam. Those who are confirmed to carry serious mental disorders or other illnesses that are not suitable for university study by China’s health and quarantine department for medical examination will be disqualified from admission.    

(3) New students shall pay relevant fees when register in the university; New students shall apply X visa or other relevant procedure within 30 days upon entering Chinese territory. Those who fail to pay above-mentioned fees or handle above-mentioned procedures will be disqualified from the admission.

   2. Entrance Reexamination

(1) New students will be re-examined identities, high school transcript and diploma within three months after enrollment by the university. Only those who pass the re-examination are allowed to register and obtain student status. Those who failed in the re-examination will be dealt with by the university according to the conditions, and may be even disqualified from their admission.  

(2) A student who is found to get registered by presenting fraudulent documents or using illegal ways in the re-examination will be dismissed immediately.  

     3. Study Status Registration  

      At the beginning of each semester, having paid the tuition and fees, each student with student status of the university should register at the office of the College of International Education with the tuition and fees receipts, student ID card and Residence Permit. Those who cannot register on time should handle procedures to defer the registration in advance. Those who do not pay their tuition and fees or fail to meet other requirements of registration will not be allowed to register.  

      4. University System and Years of Study  

The length of undergraduate schooling is normally four years. The shortest period of studying is three years and the longest is six years (including the extension period, academic probation, and the suspension of schooling and stopping of schooling). Students who receive the Chinese Government Scholarship will pay the relevant fees of the period exceeding the stipulated length.
