Q1: 2020年招生报名工作会因为疫情推迟进行吗？
Will the 2020 admission programs be delayed because of COVID-19?
A1:不会。2020年所有的项目都在照常推进。
No, all the 2020 admission programs are proceeding normally.
Q2：申请的截止日期是什么？
What is the deadline for application?
A2：CSC奖学金申请截止时间：2020年4月30日
自费生申请截止时间：2020年7月30日
非学位生申请截止时间：2020年7月30日
April 30, 2020 for CSC Scholarship application
July 30, 2020 for self-funded and non-degree application
Q3：如果因为疫情9月无法按时到校报到怎么办？
What shall I do if I cannot register on time in September because of COVID-19?
A3：我校会根据相关政策实时调整报到方式，请关注我们后续通知。
We will announce the way of registration according to the administration policies. Please follow up when we announce new notice.
Q4：哪些国家需要提供无犯罪证明呢？无犯罪证明有什么要求呢？
Students from which countries are supposed to provide the Non-Criminal record? And what is the requirements for that?
A4：所有申请人均需提供无犯罪记录证明，否则申请无法提交。
All the applicants should provide Non-Criminal record, otherwise, the application cannot be submitted. The other alternative is to provide a written statement and email us the certificate once ready.
Q5:我目前还在校学习，将于2020年6月份毕业，但目前还没拿到毕业证明。请问，我可以上传其它证明文件作为毕业证书吗？
I am expected to graduate this June, so I haven’t been awarded any degree certificates. What should I upload in the option of “Upload Degree Certificate”?
A5:如申请人为在校生，提供预毕业证明即可。入学注册时，必须提供毕业证和学位证的原件。
For candidates who will graduate before2020July, you can upload an official document issued by your current university/school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. All original diploma and graduation certificates should be provided when you register in September.
Q6:没有国际账户，该如何缴纳注册费用呢？
What’s the process of application fee submission as I don't have any international account?
A6:不需要有国际账户，如果你在境外，可以选择跨境汇款或者使用支付宝支付注册费。
If you are outside China, you have the option to pay your application through the following means can pay
a. Bank Transfer to NUAA Account
b. Credit/Debit Card
c. Paypal
d. Alipay (You can ask your friends/family in China to help you )
Q7:目前在华学习且有居留许可的申请人，还需要提交体检报告吗？
For those who are having residence permit of China and already studying here, do they still need to do physical examination?
A7:是的，目前在华的申请人也必须提供体检报告。
Physical examination is also required for those inside China.
Q8：南京航空航天大学是否可以在开学报到前（2020年9月14日-9月15日）为录取的各类学生提供居留许可等相关签证服务？
Will Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics provide the relevant visa services, such as residence permit, to the admitted students before registration (September 14 - September 15, 2020)?
A8：不可以。各类学生只有在注册之日起完成所有注册流程后，符合条件者才能通过我校申请居留许可或其他相关服务。在中国境内的申请者需要清楚自己的居留许可时限，提前合理安排行程，避免因安排不当造成非法居留等问题。
No. Only qualified students who complete all the registration procedures on the date of registration can apply for a residence permit or other visa-related services through the university. Applicants in China need to confirm the length of their residence permit, make reasonable travel arrangements in advance, and avoid problems such as illegal residence caused by improper arrangements.

第二部分 本科生入学相关问题
Part 2 About Undergraduate Admissions
Q9：本科申请者是否可以申请中国政府奖学金？
Can undergraduate applicants apply for Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC scholarship)?
A9：可以。但本科生只能申请中国政府奖学金国别双边项目（在当地使领馆申请）。该项目要求学生必须用中文上课，在正式学习专业课之前，学生需要在指定中国高校进行1年的汉语学习。对于中国政府奖学金自主招生项目，我校只支持研究生阶段学习。本科申请者如果符合奖学金申请条件请选择南京市政府奖学金或南京航空航天大学留学本科生新生奖学金。
Yes. However, undergraduate degree applicants can only apply for Chinese government scholarship - bilateral scholarship program (offered by local Chinese embassies). The program requires students to take classes in Chinese, and before learning major courses, students should have one year's Chinese study in designated Chinese university. The independent admission program of Chinese government scholarship only provides for postgraduate program. If applicants meet the requirements of scholarship application, please select Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship or Undergraduate Freshman Scholarship at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Q10：南京市政府奖学金／南京航空航天大学留学本科生新生奖学金有什么区别？
What is the difference between Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship and Undergraduate Freshman Scholarship at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics?
A10：本科生阶段，南京市政府奖学金金额为1万元/年，第二年根据获奖者成绩重新评定；南京航空航天大学留学本科生新生奖学金金额为1万元/年。学生申请的奖学金类型只代表个人意愿，审核后我们会通知学生是否得到奖学金以及奖学金类型。
For undergraduate program, the Nanjing municipal government scholarship is 10,000 yuan per year, and the second year is reassessed according to the academic results of the winners; Undergraduate freshmen scholarship at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is 10,000 yuan per year. The types of scholarships that students apply for only represent their personal wishes. After verification, we will inform applicants of whether they have received scholarships and which type of scholarships.

Part 3 About Postgraduate Admissions
Q11:申请硕士和博士项目必须提供导师接收函和推荐信吗？
Are acceptance & recommendation letters compulsory to apply admission in NUAA?
A11:申请硕士和博士都需要提供两封教授或副教授的推荐信，但只有申请博士才必须提供导师接收函。
Recommendation letters are mandatory for both master & PhD candidates. Acceptance letter is only compulsory for PhD candidates.
Q12:申请中国政府奖学金也需要支付400元的申请费吗？
I am applying for CSC scholarship, do I also need to pay an application fee of 400 RBM?
A12:申请中国政府奖学金或申请自费的学生都需要支付申请费，申请费一律不予退还。
Both self-funding applicants and CSC applicants need to pay the application fees. It is non-refundable.
Q13:我已经完成线上申请，也已按要求支付申请费，请问还需要邮寄纸质申请材料到招生办公室吗？
I applied for CSC scholarship and also submit online application for NUAA and submit application fee as well. So whether should I send hard copies to university now?
A13:可以DHL或者EMS快递纸质申请材料至招生办公室。
You can DHL or EMS hard copies of application documents after school opens on April 20. Due to the virus outbreak these days, if you cannot post application documents, it is also acceptable.
Q14:请问申请研究生项目必须提供存款证明吗？
Is it compulsory for all applicants to upload Bank statement?
A14:不强制要求提供存款证明。
Bank statement is not mandatory, but it is preferred for all applicants.
Q15:我申请的是自费硕士项目，请问我可以再申请南京市政府奖学金或南航研究生奖学金吗？
I am applying for self-funding master program, can I apply for partial scholarship（Nanjing Government Scholarship or NUAA Postgraduate Scholarship）?
A15:到校注册前缴纳全额学费的自费生都可以申请南京市政府奖学金或南航研究生奖学金。
All self-funding students are eligible for partial scholarship (either Nanjing Government Scholarship or NUAA Postgraduate Scholarship) as long as you pay the full tuition before registration in NUAA.
Q16:在线提交申请后还可以再更改吗？
How can I make changes on my submitted application?
A16:在线申请一旦确认提交无法撤回或更改。如需更改，可邮件联系zhahong@nuaa.edu.cn。
Application once submitted can only be withdrawn, and only under special circumstances it is allowed to edit the submitted application. Please emailzhahong@nuaa.edu.cnwith your request.

How to contact school regarding admission details?

Part 4 About Chinese Language Program Admissions
Q18：汉语语言生项目什么时候可以申请？
When can I apply for the Chinese language program?
A18：目前我校秋季汉语言项目是开放申请状态，可以随时在线申请，网上报名截止时间为2020年7月30日。
At present, the fall semester application system for the Chinese language program is open. Students can apply online at any time. The deadline for online application is July 30, 2020.
Q19：语言生项目的申请要求包括哪些？
What are the application requirements for the Chinese language program?
A19：语言生项目对学生的外语水平，汉语水平均不作特殊要求，但申请人需有高中及以上学历。
There is no language proficiency requirement for Chinese language program, but applicants need to have high school graduation certificate or above.

Part 5 About Online Application
Q20:我可以在手机上申请吗？
Can I apply through a smartphone?
A20：可以，如果你准备好所有的申请材料，可以在手机上申请。推进浏览器：Chrome。
Yes, if you have all your documents ready, then it is a straight forward procedure to apply through your smartphone. Suggested Browser: Chrome.
Q21:请问申请材料是什么格式的?
What format should I arrange my documents?
A21:建议申请材料采用PDF格式。特别是健康证明请扫描在一份PDF文件上。
A rule of thumb, we suggest you prepare all your documents in PDF format. Please note your health certificate (Physical examination certificate) should be in one PDF file.
Q22:请问填写网上申请需要多长时间？
How long will the application process take? Can I save my application and attend to it later?
A22:网上申请大约需要20分钟。首先确保你准备好“个人陈述及专业学习动机”。
It will take around 20 minutes to complete your application. Please make sure that you have a final version of “Personal statement and your motivation on Choosing China, NUAA, and the particular major.”
Q23:如果我多次申请会怎样？
What happens if I register more than once?
A23:多次申请记录会造成不良影响，请勿多次申请。
Multiple accounts may cause problems with your application.
Do not register multiple times.
Q24:不能上传附件怎么办？
I cannot upload any documents.
A24:附件必须采用PDF格式，不能超过2MB。防火墙会阻挡上传附件，请注意防火墙设置。
If you want to upload documents, please note the following:
You can only upload pdf files.
Each file can be a maximum of 2 MB in size.
A firewall may be preventing the uploading of your documents. If so, you will receive the error message, “Bad Request.” Disable your firewall or try to upload the files from a different computer.
Q25:如何删除已上传的附件？
How can I delete an uploaded document?
Uploaded documents cannot be removed.

If you wish to update certain documents? Please email your request to the admission office.
Q26:忘记密码怎么办？
I forgot my password.
A26:请访问“忘记密码”，系统会发送邮件重设密码。
Please visit the “Forgot password” page.
Enter the email address you used to register in My assist and solve the captcha.
You will then receive an email to reset your password.
Q27:我可以补充提交附件吗？
Can I submit missing documents later?
A27:可以。在申请截止前，任何时候都可以补充上传附件。
Yes. You can submit documents at any time before the application deadline.
Q28:申请提交后，我可以修改申请吗？
Can I modify my application?
A28:申请一旦提交无法修改，特殊情况请联系regmi@nuaa.edu.cn。
Once submitted can only be withdrawn, and only under exceptional circumstances, it is allowed to edit the submitted application.
Contact regmi@nuaa.edu.cn with your student ID and your reason.
Q29:我可以撤回申请吗？
Can I withdraw my application?
A29:在审核申请前，可以撤回申请。
Yes. You can withdraw your application if we have not yet processed it.
Q30:审核申请需要多长时间？
How long does it take to evaluate my application documents?
A30:大约需要4-6周时间，会通过邮件通知结果。
We generally evaluate your additionally submitted materials 4 to 6 weeks after we have received them. You can check the status of your application on your dashboard. We will again inform you of the results by email and by post.
