How To Use DED System?

DED system is an integral part of study for students at NUAA. The platform being in Chinese, students often feel overwhelmed about various functions of the system. So, 7th CIECG presents this instruction article to make the students familiar with DED system.

We discussed thoroughly about the General Operation of DED System as well as special operations like Course Selection, Retaking Courses and Application for Credit Recognition.


General Operation of DED System


Log In

Go to "http://aao-eas.nuaa.edu.cn/eams/login.action" and enter your Student Id & password to login.

学号/工号:(Put your Student ID)
: (Put St and Last 6 digit of your passport. Example: St123456)


Student Status Information

Go to "Student status information > Training Program" to view courses for the four-year period of university degree and the total credit requirements.


Timetable

Go to "Timetable > Personal timetable" to query the Class schedule of a student for the semesters.


Course Selection

Select or make-up the required and optional courses for the next semester. This option is open at specific and limited times only.

Exam

Go to "Exam > Course Exam Enquiry" to inquire about exam time and location.


Results

Go to "Results > Results Query" to query your own GPA for the semester. Click on "所有学期成" to check result of all semesters.


Credit Recognition

Go to "Credit Recognition and Substitution > Credit Recognition" to apply for recognition of summer course credits. This option is available for limited time.

Course Selection In DED System

STEP 1: Log in

Website: http://aao-eas.nuaa.edu.cn

Account: Same as DED Account

Password: Same as DED Account


STEP 2: Click “学期选课” (Semester course selection).


STEP 3: Click “进入选课>>>>” (Start to select course).


STEP 4: 选课Select course

1. Switch to page of “选课程”Course list for selecting).

2. Tick a course in the course list.

3. If it is a compulsive course, input 0 (zero) here, while if it is an optional course, input 1~5 (one to five) here.

4. Repeat (2) & (3) for each course until all courses are selected, then click “选课提交” to submit.


STEP 5: 选课结果Selection completed

1. Green words on this page shows how many courses have already been selected.

2. Switch to page of “选课程”Selected course list.

3. Double check the selection results.


STEP 6: 退出系Log off

Go back to main page & click “退出” to log off system.


Retaking Course in DED System

STEP 1: Log in

Website: http://aao-eas.nuaa.edu.cn

Account: Same as DED Account

Password: Same as DED Account


STEP 2: Click “选课”> “补退选申请” (Course Selection>Reselect & Drop Course).


STEP 3: Enter “重修班” (chong xiu ban),then Click “查询” (Search a course ).


STEP 4: 补选课Reselect/retake course

1. Click “重修” (retake, the right button.

2. Click “确定” (Yes).

Chinese reminder means: You can drop 2 courses only each semester, are you sure to submit?

3. 选课结果Selection completed.

Green words on this page shows how many courses have already been selected.


STEP 5: Check the result, Click “选课程(退选/调班)”.


STEP 6: 退出系Log off

Go back to main page & click “退出” to log off system.


Application for Credit Recognition

STEP 1: Log in

Website: http://aao-eas.nuaa.edu.cn

Account: Same as DED Account

Password: Same as DED Account


STEP 2: Select “学分认定及替代” (Credit recognition and replacement).


STEP 3:

1. Select “学分认定(Credit recognition)”.

2. Click “认定成绩查询(Inquire course result available for recognized)".

3. Select a semester.

4. Click “

换学期(Switch to this semester)” to show the course list.


STEP 4:

1.Select the course you want to apply.

2.Click “请成绩认定(Apply for credit recognition)”.


STEP 5:

1. Select the course type of “专业选修课(optional major course)”.

2. Click “提交(submit)” to return to the main menu.


STEP 6: Click “提交to submit your application.
