1. What are the application requirements for the Undergraduate Program?

(1)Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport in compliance with the provisions of Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China.

(2) Applicants should be at the age of 18 - 25 years old (applicants under the age of 18 should submit the notarized letter of Guardian's Guarantee).

(3) Applicants should have a high school diploma or above.

(4)Applicants should meet the following language proficiency requirements:

* Chinese-taught programs: HSK4 or above;

* English-taught program: IELTS (6.0 or above), TOEFL (70 or above) or English proficiency letter.

2. How to apply?

Ø Register in https://nj.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx

Ø Enter your applicant information, educational history and upload the related documents.

Ø Select your desired program.

Ø Upload the required documents.

Ø Pay the application fees to submit your application form online.

3. When does enrollment start?

January 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022

Note: Scholarship applicants should submit applications before May 30. For scholarship details, refer to the Scholarships  for specific requirements.

4. Are there any entrance tests?

All admitted applicants are required to take an online entrance test. You will be informed of the test details through the application portal.

5. My previous curriculum was in English, and I have an English certificate from my previous school. Can I use it instead of IELTS or TOFEL results?

The school-level English certificate is also acceptable.

6. I am expected to gradate this June, so i haven’t been awarded any degree certificates. What should I upload in the option of (Upload Degree Certificate)?

For candidates who will graduate before 2022 July, you can upload an official document issued by your current university/school to prove your current  student status or expected graduation date. All original diploma and graduation certificates should be provided when you register in September.

7. For those who are having residence permit of China and already studying here, do they still need to do the physical examination?

Physical examination is also required for those inside China.

8. What’s the difference between Nanjing Government Scholarship and Undergraduate Freshman Scholarship?

For undergraduate programs, the Nanjing Government Scholarship is 10,000 yuan and given by the Nanjing Government.

Undergraduate Freshmen scholarship is also 10,000 yuan given by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Both of these two scholarships last only for one year. From the second year, academic scholarship (3000RMB - 10000RMB) will be awarded based on the student’s academic performance.

9. Can undergraduate applicants apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC scholarship)?

Yes. However, undergraduate degree applicants can only apply for Chinese government scholarship - bilateral scholarship program (offered by local Chinese embassies). The program requires students to take classes in Chinese, and before learning major courses, students should have one year's Chinese study in designated Chinese university. The independent admission program of Chinese government scholarship only provides for postgraduate program. If applicants meet the requirements of scholarship application, please select Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship or Undergraduate Freshman Scholarship at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

10. What’s the process of application fee submission as I don’t have any international account?

11. What format should I arrange my documents?

A rule of thumb, we suggest you prepare all your documents in PDF format. Please note your health certificate (Physical Examination Certificate) should be in one PDF file.

12. How long does it take to evaluation my application documents?

We generally evaluate your additionally submitted materials 1 to 2 weeks after we have received them. You can check the status of your application on the application portal.
