ACADEMIC CALENDAR

Autumn Semester      Aug 30, 2021 – Jan 14, 2022

Spring Semester       Feb 28, 2022-July 7, 2022

NOMINATION & APPLICATION

Eligibility

a) A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale;

b) HSK 5 at least for attending the Chinese Taught Course (Original test certificate required);

c) IELTS 6.0 or TOFEL 90 for attending English Taught Courses;

d) Must be a currently enrolled university student;

e) Complete 2 semesters at home university;

f) Non-Chinese citizens.

Nomination & Application Procedure

a) A nomination link from NUAA exchange system will be sent to exchange coordinators of partner universities; Exchange coordinators need to open the link and input nominees' information;

b) Once students have been nominated, they will receive an email with the password; Nominated students should log in to the application website and submit the application before April 30, 2021 for fall semester and before Nov 30, 2021 for spring semester;

c) Students can track the admission procedure.  

d) Exchange coordinators of home universities will also get admission results by email.

Documents for application

a) Information page of passport (Students are required to upload a passport with validity at least 6 months beyond the planned date of arrival);

b) Resume;

c) Transcript from home university;

d) Recommendation letter or Nomination letter from home university;

e) Study plan;

f) Personal photo;

g) Language proficiency certificate (if applicable).

Spring semester: Oct 30, 2021

ADMISSION PACKAGE

In mid-June or mid-December,, exchange coordinators of partner universities will receive the admission package, which includes:

a) Admission notice;

b) Visa application form for study in China;

c) Registration Book

d) Campus Map.

PREPARATION BEFORE ARRIVAL

Visa application

All students are required to apply for Student Visa (X visa) at Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country with your passport, admission notice and visa application form for study in China.

Accommodation

NUAA provides on-campus dormitories. Students are required to make reservation in online system.

For your reference, the list of English Taught courses are available at http://cie.nuaa.edu.cn/11027/list.htm.

Reminder:

NUAA will make every effort to assist exchange students to register for the courses. However, students should understand not all courses listed in the school bulletins will be offered each semester. Moreover, some courses will have limited enrollment.

TRANSCRIPTS

Transcripts will be sent to the partner universities at the beginning of the following semester after exchange.
