Dear all students,

自2022年下半年以来，我校大部分留学生已顺利入境返校。为全面恢复教学秩序，确保学生培养质量，经研究决定，自2023年秋季学期起，学校将终止线上教学和线上考核。具体说明如下：

Since the second half of last year, most of NUAA international students have successfully returned to school. In order to fully restore the teaching order and ensure the teaching quality, NUAA will officially stop providing online teaching and online tests to all students. This decision will become effective from the beginning of semester of 2023-2024-1. The specific arrangements are as follows,

（1）新学期（2023-2024学年第1学期）有课程修读任务的学生，包括本科留学生、留学研究生，须按时返校上课。学校不再接受学生参加线上学习或线上考核的申请。

In new semester (Semester 2023-2024-1), all undergraduate and postgraduate students, who will have courses to take or retake, must return to school on time. University will not accept students' applications for online learning or online exams.

（2）本学期（2022-2023学年第2学期）完成课程修读任务的留学研究生（包括留学博士生），须按时返校继续论文研究任务。学校不再接受学生线上开题及论文答辩的申请。

Postgraduate students（including Ph.D. students）, who have got all credits by the end of this semester (Semester 2022-2023-2), must return to school on time to continue the thesis research work. University will not accept students' applications for online proposal and thesis defenses.

（3）疫情期间已完成论文任务的留学研究生（包括留学博士生），因故不返校的，必须获得导师批准，并在规定时间内完成学位论文送审（2023年12月31日之前）和线上学位论文答辩（2024年3月15日之前）。逾期后果自负。

Postgraduate students（including Ph.D. students）, who have completed the thesis during the pandemic period and cannot return to school for some reasons, must get permission from supervisors at first. To those students, the submission of dissertations must be done before December 31，2023 and online defense must be organized before March 15，2024. Otherwise, students shall be responsible for any consequences.

（4）其他因故无法按时返校上课的学生，请主动联系学校说明原因，并视情况办理休学或退学手续。

Other students, who are unable to return to school with special reasons, should contact CIE as soon as possible. Students need to apply for suspension or submit documents for quitting from school as appropriate.
